Werkina has been investing a great deal of time, money & energy in its own innovations since the initial years. Our view is that one can only survive in this very competitive market by being in the lead in technological development. Developments in other technical fields are closely followed and where possible implemented in our own installations.
A nice example of our view and work method is the standardised Data Operation System (DBS), smartly assembled with high-quality standard components. Another innovation is W-PROP, Werkina’s modular power management for electric propulsion, which saves space as well as weight, fuel, maintenance (costs) and of course CO2, SOX and NOX emission! The LNG fuelled EcoLiner has this innovative load on board.
